And uh as as Pastor David teaches and just ministers the word, I want us each and every each and every one of us to receive it from that place of what we just uh came from. And remember, worship doesn't stop when music stops. And so continue to take this and everything that was that was cultivated in this place of allowing the Lord to create and build that that garden in your heart. Thank you, Lord. Come on, bro.

Thank you.

SPEAKER_03

Thank you.

SPEAKER_02

I gotta just share something, sir, real quick, and something I've just been reading in the word more and more, and just something I've been praying over the bride more and more, and the people, uh, more and more. Uh just changing our making sure we're always drinking from the right well. Uh making sure we're always changing the well to help me. Uh, thank you, Jesus. Yeah, I remember one time Pastor Marissa a while back said something that always stuck with me, and we're always declaring and said, like, we don't want bigger buildings, we want bigger gardens. It's something, you know, we always declare. It's that's truly what it's about.

SPEAKER_03

Truly about just having a guard in your relationship with Jesus.

SPEAKER_02

And it's cool because like he told the priest, he said, tend and guard, you know, this this sanctuary, you know, the sanctuary, the temple. I think it's the same thing with our garden. We're cards, we're we're called to guard and tend our garden, which is something we gotta make sure we're doing uh daily with him.

SPEAKER_03

Uh making sure we're tending to it, cultivating it, you know. It's a garden. If you know we all know, if we don't want to take care of a garden, whatever just dies, there's no, there's nothing there, you know, there's no fruit there. And the same thing goes with Jesus. You know, if we don't guard or tend to our garden, things come in, uh animals, weeds come in, you know, and we all know that. So anyway, I love what we're singing in worship. Go home with that, say, man, God, tend, guard my garden, Jesus. Even Jesus says in John 15, very famous passage that bite, and he says that my father is the what? The gardener. You know, he we gotta know him as a gardener, you know. Uh he's he says that my father is a gardener, and that's just what it's about. So anyway, Jesus, we love you. Uh, we thank you. Uh, like I said, just to encourage you with this word, uh, just to stir you up, going back to drinking the living water, uh, drinking that living water, which is Jesus, every day of your life, daily. You know, that woman at the well, it's always my favorite thing to talk about. Uh, the woman at the well simply, uh, we all know this. Everybody in the word, everybody in the Bible, what they went back to a well daily. You know, physically, they needed water. You know, she went to that well daily. And I love just when she encountered Jesus. I can just, I can just uh imagine these thought process of like, man, if I'm going to this well physically to get a drink after that encounter, I gotta make sure spiritually I'm getting the well from Jesus. I can just imagine how her whole life flipped after that encounter with Jesus because she didn't stop going to that well naturally to get water. But at the same time, spiritually, I can just imagine her going to this well and just thinking this encounter she had with Jesus of like, man, I have to make sure I'm drinking this living water daily. I gotta make sure I'm getting the living water daily from Jesus. If not, I'm gonna go back into my cycles. I once was in wanting relationships all the time, wanting, you know, whatever it could be, you're you know, the woman at the well was battling, you know, then, and whatever it could be if you don't keep going to the well of living water, which is Jesus. And I love it because uh I'm just gonna read these verses real quick. It's uh it's in John 4, 10, then 11, then 13 through 14. But she says, uh, this is what the woman at the well he tells, she tells him, she says, But sir, you don't have a rope or a bucket, she said, and this well is very deep. And it says, Would you, where would you get this living water? But of course, uh Jesus, but before that though, my bad, Jesus tells her, if you only knew who the gift that God had for you, uh you're speaking to, you ask, uh you you would ask for me to give you living water. And she goes on and says that, but sir, you don't have a rope, you know, you don't have a bucket. And Jesus replied, Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again, but those who drink the water I give them uh will never be thirsty again. Of course, there'll be rivers flowing from them. Uh I love how he says eternal life. He says rivers giving them eternal life. I love it because once again, I I love this because Jesus talks about once again, like the in verse 10, he says, If you knew who I was, you know, you'd be asking me for water. And she goes on and says, But sir, you don't have a rope or a bucket. That's what she says. And Jesus replies, it's funny, he just replies and tells her, anyone who drinks of this water will soon be thirsty again. Like, you know, you think the thing if, you know, my my brother Ben over here said, like, hey, you don't have a bucket. You know, you don't have a bucket or rope to get this water. You know, I would be like, Well, it's you know, help me get a bucket. Come on, let's get this water, you know. But Jesus doesn't reply to her with that. He isn't like, okay, you have a bucket, so help me get this water out of here. Because she's like, hey, you don't have a bucket. That's what she tells him, you don't have a bucket. And then she and Jesus, you know, the first thing we want, hey, give me a bucket, let's get this. But the thing Jesus talks about again, he doesn't say the bucket, but he talks about the water and the well. And so many times, us people in life, I even love how he talks about it. He says, you know, be rivers of living water flowing them, giving them eternal life. Because so many times in life, what do people do? We love to change our bucket, but we don't change the well. You see what I'm saying? She talks about all she was more concerned was about the bucket, not the well. When Jesus told her, hey, if you knew who I was, you'd be asking me for water. And she says, You don't have a bucket. She was more concerned about the bucket than the well. And so many times people in life are like that. We go to this bucket, we go to that bucket, what could anything could be your bucket, as my pastor? I was saying, search me, search me, Holy Spirit. You know, what is your bucket in your life? What is something you keep going back to? Is it a relationship? Is it, you know, whatever it could be, your an addiction, uh, whatever it could be, some lust of the flesh, whatever it could be, what is the bucket that you keep saying, man, here's my bucket. I got a new bucket. How many times does that happen in life? Like, I'm gonna move on to this relationship, or hey, I'm moving to this church. Hopefully, this bucket changes my life. I'm going to that church when God didn't lead you there. But once again, you go to this place, you do this, you do that, you do this, you change your buckets in life, but you don't change the well you're drinking from. And that's what this woman was dealing with. She'd been divorced five times. She kept changing buckets in life, but she never changed the well she was drinking from. And that's what Jesus had to tell her in this moment. He's like, Well, you're more concerned about this bucket. Like I said, that that would have been the greatest response, but the right response the lady was looking for. You don't have a bucket, you don't have a rope. And Jesus would be like, Hey, you have a bucket, help me. But instead, he had to go and tell her, it's the water you're drinking. The living, we need this living water from Jesus. We need the living water from him. And like I said, so many times people will change the buckets, but they don't change the well they're drinking from. And I'm telling you, don't just keep changing your buckets like this woman at the well did. She kept changing it over and over again, and she never found satisfaction. She never found healing in her life. She always felt rejected and shameful. Why? Because she kept drinking the same well until she encountered Jesus. So ask yourself as we're just kind of going deeper into this, say, man, what is the bucket I keep leaning on? What is it in my life? Search me, Holy Spirit. What is something I know I need to give up? And it's just like Jesus, I want to find satisfaction in you, Jesus. If there's any bucket you have in life, if there's anything that you have in life, uh, the bucket Jesus tells us, He does tell us what the bucket is. He does tell us, you know, how do I get this living water? He does tell us, how do we get this water from the well you're talking about, Jesus? It's simple. The well, the bucket that we have now is intimacy. The bucket that we have now is worship. It is true worship to Jesus. That is what we have now. That is the bucket we get to be able to get from this living well, the living water from Jesus. It's intimacy. It is intimacy with Jesus. Because that's what Jesus started telling this woman at the well all about. He's like, hey, you know, you don't drink the uh the right water, you know, you don't drink from the well. He goes on and tells her again and again, we all know the story. He teaches her about worship. He teaches her about what intimacy. And that's what this life's about. The bucket that we have now to be able to get this water from Jesus, to be able to get the living water from the well of Jesus. It's intimacy. It's worship. It's very, very simple. It's very simple. And I'm telling you, that's what we're just called to do. We're called to make sure that we're drinking this living water daily from him. I love what uh Isaiah 12, 3 says, Therefore, with joy you would draw water from the wells of salvation. That's what it talks about. He says you would draw waters from the wells of salvation. That's what he says. And then I love it because, like I said, the joy, sometimes once again, sometimes once again we don't find joy. Why? Because we're not gaining the living water from the well of salvation. Whose salvation is Jesus, you know. And we're not drinking from the right, right well. And sometimes that happens in life. We don't find joy because why? We're not drinking from the right well. We're not drinking, you know, from the living water from the right well and stuff like that. So we don't have joy in life. I love that. If you actually go and read probably half or more of that passage in uh uh Isaiah 12, it literally talks about singing a song to God and worship. That's just what blew me away because it talks about, like I said, the the wells, drinking from the wells of salvation, the joy. And if you read about it, it talks about praising and singing worship to Jesus, to God, you know. And I love it because, like I said, it just tied in again, because that's the bucket we have now. That is the bucket that we have to get this living water, the the wells of salvation, you know, Jesus. That is the bucket that we have now. It's the worship that we have, it's the song that we can sing him, it's the intimacy we have with Jesus now. And that is the bucket that we have to draw water from this living well. And it's on a daily basis. It's a daily thing. It's not, you know, whatever it could be. It's daily, every day with your life with him. Um, even in Proverbs 20, it talks about how to get wisdom from a deep well. It actually says, though, it actually talks about how wisdom is a deep well, and it says the man who understands it draws it out. I love that because once again, once again, the woman at the well, the reason why she wasn't gaining this living water, why? Because she didn't understand, she didn't know who Jesus was, she didn't understand him. Proverbs 20 says that talks about in there, it talks about wisdom is a deep well, and the man who understands draws it out. And that's the same. This woman at the well, the reason why she kept drinking, you know, spiritually, you know, changing the buckets in her life was because she didn't understand she didn't know who Jesus was. And sometimes that happens in our life, right? We we don't we have different buckets in life, we keep changing the bucket, but we don't change the well we're drinking from. Why? Because maybe we just don't know him, maybe we don't understand him. So I'm telling you, every day of your life, if it's something you see in your life, man, what is the bucket that I keep, you know, going back to? And I'm not changing my well that I'm drinking from. Um, you just go be with him. Because sometimes you have to understand it. You have to uh go be alone with him, you gotta go read the word with him, you gotta go pray with him, worship, praise him, you know. It's everything with him. And the more and more you do that, and like I said, the more and more you do that, the more and more it's simple. You're gonna understand him in these living waters, you know, will come to him. And like I said, I love when Jesus said that to the woman. The wells of living water that are eternal, eternal life. Because you look at the buckets, the buckets can just mean simple, symbolic of what something that's temporary. You see what I'm saying? The buckets are temporary. That's why Jesus had to tell her the water I'm gonna give you is eternal. That's why he had to say that in that verse. He had to say that he wasn't just like you living waters, but he had to specifically tell her these waters I'm gonna give you are eternal. Because the buckets in life sometimes can be what? Temporary things. But again, and you know, and it goes for Jesus once again satisfies us for eternally. You know, it's forever. And like I said, what bucket are you doing today? What bucket do you keep changing from? That's just something temporary satisfaction rather than drinking from the well of Jesus and drinking the living waters that brings satisfaction for eternity because that's what Jesus is showing us here. He doesn't want to give us something temporary. His relationship isn't temporary, it's something for eternal. And of course, the very end of the story, John 4, 28, it says the woman left the water jar beside the well and ran back to her village, telling everyone. I love that. I love that. Uh hopefully during worship, you left these buckets at the altar. Or maybe now you can say, you know what? I want to leave the jar. I want to leave these jars. I want to leave the buckets at the altar. And I want to truly get the bucket of intimacy with Jesus. And I want to drink from his well. I love that. I really do. And I think it's so what a prophetic sign. Like I said, sometimes people do in church. I'll go back to it again. We change our buckets, but we don't change the well we're drinking from. And I'm telling you, that's this woman had to leave that bucket there to say, I'm never going to get this bucket again. But instead, I'm gonna I change the well that I'm drinking from, and it's Jesus. So I'm telling you, don't keep changing buckets. Don't keep going thinking you're gonna find satisfaction in a new job. The only you're gonna find satisfaction in some new relationship, don't think you're gonna find satisfaction in a whole new brand new church. And of course, if God doesn't lead you to any of those, I'm saying, don't think you're gonna find satisfaction in those buckets, they're temporary. Just make sure you're drinking from the living, the living waters from the living well. Make sure you're doing that daily. It's daily. Make sure you're doing that. Because if not, I'm telling you, you're gonna go back to that well and pick up that bucket. You're gonna go back and pick it up. You really are. And uh, like I said, and that's just what it's about. That's something I just want to share with y'all, stir y'all up to say, man, I want to make sure that the bucket I have is intimacy and I can draw the living waters with Jesus. I can do it with Jesus, and uh, that's just once again what it's about. And I remember once again just going through the story, just to encourage you again, just about worship, always making worship about intimacy, nothing else. Um I remember like when I first started studying the story a lot and really just having a hunger more and more saying, God, what is worship? What is worship? And I remember in that season, there were so many times I kept hearing like there's so many, I kept hearing this, like I kept hearing people talk about there's so many different vehicles of worship, you know. They kept talking about the vehicles of worship, which was music, painting, flagging, you know, all these things. But I never heard anyone, whenever I got to the woman at the well and I was studying this with Jesus, and I just heard like so many people talk about the vehicles of worship, but they never talk about the heart of worship. They talk about these vehicles of worship, but they never talk about the heart of worship. And the heart of worship is here, and it's about gaining the living waters from Jesus and finding satisfaction in Him. And so many times, like I say, that's why worship's treated as a concert, that's why worship's treated as this 30-minute fast slow songs here. So many times. We think worship's gonna be about music. If worship's happening, music has to be happening. If worship is happening, flagging or all these things have to be happening, vehicles have to be happening rather than a heart of worship. Imagine if we had some worship event when all we did was leave buckets at the altar. When all we did, there was no music playing, but instead all we did was say, leave your bucket at the altar. Just leave it at the altar, leave your bucket, don't go back to that bucket. I'm telling you, so many times that happened. As I was studying, God told me a long, long time ago, I was like, Man, so many people talk about those vehicles, but they don't talk about that heart of worship. And it's just so once again having that right heart, a right heart for worship and being satisfied by Jesus. Anyway, let's stand up. But like I said, don't be so focused on your bucket, but be focused on the well you're getting the living water from. Don't worry about the bucket. I'm telling you that right now. That's why so many people do that. They they go, they think they're gonna find satisfaction at a new job, and they go to a new job, and it's like, oh, this is worse. People are worse here. People are bothering me. Why? Because you're changing the bucket, but you're not changing the well. That's why. You're changing the bucket, but not changing the well you're drinking from. Or, you know, whatever it could be in life. You go from that, you go from this. So many people, and I'm telling you, change, make sure you're drinking from the right well. Well, not the bucket. The bucket doesn't mean anything. Your bucket, like I said, it's your heart. Your heart is your bucket now. It's intimacy with Jesus. Let's just close our eyes. Come on. Close your eyes right now. Come on. Like I said, there's any buckets you got to leave at the altar, man, leave them. There's any bucket you got to leave at that well and just go and say, man, I'm leaving this bucket here. I'm leaving this bucket of relationships here. I'm leaving this bucket of, you know, job, whatever it could be, money, finances, the bucket of worriness, maybe, you know, whatever it could be, the bucket of fear, whatever it could be, you know, whatever it could be, maybe something distracting you right now in this season, like, man, this bucket I keep going back to. But I'm not just going to Jesus. Come on. Father, I pray right now in Jesus' name, God, that we know that our heart is our bucket now. We know the way to get this living water. And you teach us in the woman at the well in John 4, you teach us how to get this living water. Because she tells them, what is this living water you're talking about? And he goes on and tells her, worship in spirit and in truth. That is the way you get this living water.

SPEAKER_01

It's just worshiping intimacy with Jesus.

SPEAKER_03

Come on, let's not keep changing our buckets, but we don't change the well. Come on. So, Father, I pray that right now, Lord, that we all know in this room that our bucket now is our heart, and we get the living water from intimacy with Jesus. We get it to, we get it by sitting at the feet of Jesus. We get it by reading the Bible with Jesus. We get it by praying with Jesus. It's our come on, your heart is your bucket now. Come on. Like that woman at the well, sir, you don't have a bucket. You don't have a rope. How are you gonna get it? How are you gonna get it? Come on, your heart. He had to tell her, he was telling her, the heart is your bucket now, woman. Come on. So, Father, I pray that right now, Lord, that all of us as we leave this room, God, and as we leave this building, even tonight, tomorrow morning, whatever it could be, Jesus, whatever it could be, Lord, we just we want to be with you, Jesus.

SPEAKER_01

We just want to be alone with you, Jesus. We want to spend time with you. We want to make time for you, Jesus.

SPEAKER_03

Just like this woman, like I said at the very beginning, before I started teaching, I said, man, I can just imagine the encounter changed her life by saying, every time she went back to that well though to get water now, it's like you go back to the store to get some food, you go back to the store to get water, you know.

SPEAKER_01

I can just imagine though her thought possible saying, like, man, I gotta make sure that I get that living water. I gotta make sure that as I'm getting this water, what Jesus taught me, I gotta make sure I'm getting that living water though. Come on. Don't just go to work and don't just go go get groceries, whatever. Just say, man, hey, I gotta make sure I get the living water though.

SPEAKER_03

I can just imagine her never going to get water being the same without thinking that. Like, oh man, I gotta get I gotta get the living water too, man. I gotta be with him. So Jesus, just give us a heart of conviction if we're not with you. Just give us a heart that just says, Jesus, man, if I'm not with you, I want to I I need to be with you. Come on. And like I said, the heart, the bucket is your heart now. So, Jesus, I just pray that over everyone right now. A blessing. Uh, just let them be joyful. And you let, like the Bible says in Isaiah 12, drink from the wells of joy, the wells of salvation. Let us be joyful. So I I just declare that over everyone right now in Jesus' name, amen.
